Finest copper mesh, stably interwoven with tiny meshes and a maximum spacing of 1 mm. This versatile mesh of bare copper is perfect for use as a mash strainer, filter, aroma strainer, protector and much more. It is adaptable, bendable and additionally recommended for all distilleries.

The mesh is an ideal protection for your spirit pipe to prevent it from clogging when spices or herbs rise to the top. The fabric bends and fits well and keeps its shape even when you clamp it in front of the spirit pipe at the top of the hat. So the fabric is a big plus in terms of safety that you should not do without.

The fabric can also be used at the bottom of the kettle as a scorch guard or placed over the top of the coarse aroma strainer of the steam stills. It is a great protection when you are working with fine herbs or spices that might otherwise fall through the coarse sieves. Here, even fine grains like anise or caraway are still guaranteed to stay in the steam.
