Ofen-Dicht is a reliable, paste-like product specially developed for bonding and grouting refractory bricks and sealing seams and connection joints in heating systems, open fireplaces and stoves. It is made of sodium/sodium silicate and is available in black.

Ofen-Dicht is easy to apply at an application temperature of +15°C to +40°C and has an open time of about 5 to 10 minutes. After curing, it forms a hard, high temperature resistant seal that withstands temperatures from -60°C to +1200°C. Within 24 hours, it reaches a cure of approximately 1.5mm and can then be stored for up to 6 months.

To achieve the best possible results, the surfaces of the materials to be bonded should be free of dust and grease. Ofen-Dicht offers a reliable sealing solution for heating systems, open fireplaces and stoves that operate at high temperatures and are exposed to particular stresses.
